Week 4 reflection

This week has been very busy. This week I competed in the trials for swimming and I also made the top 6 in my year group.Tomorrow on Monday i'm going to Cambridge hopefully if I take my notice. Anyway let's not talk about the negative. Onto the positive. Tech Arts!!!!!!!! This week we have created a cushion to paint on and looking at the people who have finished I'm quite impressed. In fact I can't wait to see how my cushion will turn out when I finish. So wish me luck to finish. Going to the Museum was fun. I really enjoyed the fact that Mr T would keep all the children entertained and happy because what normal people would do is tell the big stories with all these really good words but without any entertainment what's the point of listening to any of that. It's very time wasting should I say. I enjoy going to Kapahaka. The thing that I like is learning about new songs that make you quite emotional especially when your really connected to it but a lot of people get used to the fact that you need to carry on. Inter class Softball was quite interesting because we went up against Room 1 but we won which came to a shock but when I found out that they were all at cricket practice or trialing for something else such as volleyball that made a lot more sense. Anyway I'll keep you guys updated on my blog. See Yah!!!!!

NZ Juniors Competition in the Weekend

This a ticket for swimmers or coaches and managers only

During the weekend I went to a big event called NZ Juniors for swimming.NZ Juniors (12 yr old under)is where all the best swimmers from all the regions come together at quite a popular place and let children compete to move up to Div 2.What Div 2 is, it's when you're thirteen years old  but not at the level where you can move on to Nationals for thirteen and over. My day down in Auckland ( North Shore) was literally chaotic. The reason being is because it was busy and packed with other clubs and swimmers trying to improve their standing in the elite swimming events.

It's a beautiful and very large place although there are some times where you just can't handle the heat inside and that was a real struggle through the weekend. I got a few headaches but they slowly went away finally!!!!!!!. When I had my first race(200 Breaststroke) I really enjoyed it because I met some new people to become friends and it was my first time going there so it was a really good experience to see and hopefully I will get to do it next year if they don't forfeit the whole entire event.

Week 3 Reflection

My week at Te Awamutu Intermediate has been very exciting. This came to shock but I actually got  a principal award from giving back positive feedback to other peoples blogs.

Another surprise was the fact that I actually got asked to show my own blog to Mrs Shaw which is very exciting.I'm very happy with most of my test results that we have been doing through out the week.

Honestly i'm not doing well in basic facts talking my brain isn't working wise but that doesn't stop me from trying. when you look at professionals.

How do you think they got where they are right now? By training or practicing what they want to do or want to be.

Also when I found out that Waipa won I was very happy.

Practice makes progress , not perfect.

I am so glad that I have finished my vision board this week. This task took a lot of time from that could have been used to finish other things.

I finally finished my pencil case and small, squishy ball from Tech Arts and can't wait to create a cushion. Unfortunately I can't be their on Friday because of personal difficulties. Soon my time will come hopefully.

I really like hanging out with my friends and just chilling out on the playground.

I am quite happy with all the opportunities that I taken such as Kapahaka, choir.

Since I was in a lot of sporting events during the past few years I want to try and make it into a lot of teams.

I'm thinking of joining some sporting events while i'm here.

By the way congratulations to all those house captains that became one today.

Term 1 Week 2

My last two weeks at Te Awamutu intermediate have been quite a blast.
By the looks of things I have learnt to not leave your work till the last minute.
During Tech arts we are creating certain types of items in soft materials.
I cannot wait to go to science.
We have been given two tasks where we have to write a letter about ourselves to Mrs Crowe which due tomorrow on Friday. The other task is where we have to create a vision board by next week at the latest.
