Term 1 Week 5
On Monday, I went to WIMS Swimming and it was quite fun. I learnt that you can't underestimate your limits and that to be good at something it takes hard work. Anyway, I came 2nd in the 100 meters freestyle and 1st in the 50 meters Butterfly. It was a lot of fun and I had a blast. On Tuesday, it was my birthday which was very fun because I found out that it was Matua and Ms Finns birthday as well so that was cool to find out. In Tech Arts, we are at sewing/ soft materials and I had nearly done my jersey so I tried to finish and I did. On Wednesday, we had the spelling test to see where we are at and I think I did well. There were a lot of words that I need to start learning. On Thursday, I had my first band practice with all the saxophones and clarinets. It was really fun and we learnt what the notes are and stuff. On Friday we had swimming sports which was our Inter house swimming competition and our championship finalist. I was really proud of myself because I broke three records in the open meter butterfly, the 25m breaststroke and the 25m freestyle. I really enjoyed watching the bomb comp and watching the relays.
